It’s not a pretty fight. High-profile attacks, such as the WannaCry ransomware outbreak, the Marriott data breach, and the City of Atlanta cyberattack, reflects the high stakes of losing a cyber slugfest. The cyberthreat landscape has intensified for businesses in the past five years, so it’s no surprise that small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are quaking because of their known (and unknown) vulnerabilities. They don’t have the time, the knowledge, or the resources to dual with a cyberthreat villain.

What SMBs look for is an ally. An ally that can protect them from all cyber threats. Enter Managed Services Providers (MSPs). An MSP equips their customers with the layered security services they need. Those customers look for solutions that not only defend their network but also reduce administrative costs, while bolstering efficiencies. Now more than ever dealers have a unique opportunity to tap into this market, helping to solidify and grow customer accounts. Entering the Managed IT services market should be part of a dealer’s growth plan, because the battlefield is wide and SMBs are calling MSPs to arms!

In 2018, the U.S. Council of Economic Advisers reported that, “malicious cyber activity costs the U.S. economy between $57 billion and $109 billion.” In that same report it was noted that, “private-sector companies will spend over $1 trillion globally on digital security.”  That is some serious money being poured into the investment of cyber armor.  Is your company positioned to earn some of it?

You can learn how by attending ITEX on April 24th and 25th. ITEX will host some of the most respected experts and thought-leaders on cybersecurity. Google’s Christopher Johnson, Barracuda’s Gord Cairns, and CompTIA faculty member Gary Bixler are just a few who will be on-hand sharing intel on HOW your company can (and should) evolve into cybersecurity providers. It’s time to enhance and grow your business, while helping to conquer the war on cyber threats.
